2015 August Music
In August 2015, the manor garden once again resonated with music. Estonia’s most unique and modern vocal group, Estonian Voices, offered up its refined phrasings and intonations. Besides originals, folk music covers and jaunty arrangements of hits could be heard. Devotees of big band music were thrilled to hear Estonian Dream Big Band with Hedvig Hanson, Uku Suviste and Hendrik Sal-Saller. The first part featured gentler, more delicate music – Hedvig Hanson and Uku Suviste performed a duet of fresh arrangements of Estonian pop standards, the second half then introduced harder rocking energy as Hendrik Sal-Saller took the stage. If you are coming from Tallinn via Keila on Paldiski maantee, turn right after driving 35 kilometres and drive on 2 km toward Laulasmaa. Kõltsu manor will be on your left.
